Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce

I still haven't read this book and I pretend to call myself a Tammy fan? I was on the library's waiting list for this book for ages.
Cold Fire by Tamora Pierce

This is the third in the Circle Opens series. Steadily making my way through these books. I don't think they are as good as the Tortall books, but then what is?
Wings by Aprilynne Pike

It came highly recommended from my friends, and I adoreeeee fairies.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith

A pick for my school's book club. Not necessarily a book I would normally go for, but then that's the whole point of a book club. At least we actually have good books this year. (Last year I didn't read one!)
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Super excited for this one. I've heard very good things about it, so whoo!

I really liked Wings! A very pretty and sweet story, but with some nice thrilling moments in it. I never really got excited about Pierce's later books, but I adore the Alanna and Immortals quartets. That first bloodhound book was okay though. What was it, Terrier?
ReplyDeleteI just finished Wings, and I agree. Nothing supaaa amazing, but a nice story. Immortals is my favorite, but Terrier was fine. I disliked the switch to first person, but that's just my preference.
